Special issue for Brazilian Pharmacognosy Lecturers

Special Issue

A special issue of the Revista Brasileira de Farmacognosia-Brazilian Journal of Pharmacognosy will be published for Brazilian lecturers in Pharmacognosy. The purpose of this issue is to bring up-to-date knowledge on Pharmacognosy research in Brazil. The manuscripts would be on the physical, chemical, biochemical and biological properties of new drugs from natural sources. RBFAR is an international peer-reviewed Open Access bimonthly journal published by Elsevier.

Pharmacognosy has vast applications in the Pharmaceutical Industry and Pharmacy Education; thus, manuscripts on the history, cultivation, collection, standardization, transfer and storage of drugs and economic substances affecting the health of man and other animals are also welcome Research and review articles as well as communications are invited.

The issue will be released in X Brazilian Symposium of Pharmacognosy, which will be held in Petrolina, PE, 16-19 September 2015

 Prospective authors should kindly submit their article on or before 30th May 2015. All articles will be peer-reviewed.

Submission Process

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers).

Manuscripts must be submitted till May 30th, 2015, at http://ees.elsevier.com/bjp.
All submissions will go through the RBFAR regular peer review process and follow the same norms and processes.
