The Revista Brasileira de Farmacognosia/Brazilian Journal of Pharmacognosy is a publication of the Sociedade Brasileira de Farmacognosia/Brazilian Society of Pharmacognosy to publish original scientific work, divulgation articles, reviews, and contribution in the field of pharmacognosy.
The journal abbreviated title is Rev. Bras. Farmacog., which must be used in bibliografies, footnotes, and bibliographics references and strips.

Available issues
Special issue dedicated to XIX Congress of SILAE
A special issue of the Revista Brasileira de Farmacognosia will be published as a complementary activity following the congress. This special issue will comprise of the best papers presented at the congress. Postgraduate research, being the bedrock of building future researchers, is well recognised within the SILAE for these raison this special issue will comprise ten paper from postgraduate researchers.
The SILAE congresses are International events whose organizations are submitted to an International
Committee Organizer that is composed of professors from European and Latin America Universities.
The Italo - Latin American Ethnomedicine Congress arises from the necessity to valuate the important
potentialities of medicinal and alimentary plants and to find a connection between European and Latin-Americans researchers. The SILAE Congress is an event based articulated in six sessions: Anthropology,
Ethnobotany, Phytochemistry, Natural Products, Pharmacognosy and Food Chemistry. Information regarding submission of papers for this special issue will be communicated to the authors of accepted abstracts.
All manuscripts should be in English.

The Revista Brasileira de Farmacognosia/Brazilian Journal of Pharmacognosy is freely distributed among all members.
The annual subscription rates are effective from January 1st of the subscription year. Institutional rates apply to libraries, hospitals, research institutes, and corporations. Only qualified professionals and students are eligible for individual subscriptions. All journal subscriptions are on a non-returnable calendar year basis. Multiple year subscriptions are not available. Delivery of subscription will start upon receipt of payment.
